My praise of your wonderful hot sauce.
I was the biggest Sri Ra Cha sauce (red rooster) fan for the longest time. Every slice of pizza needed a small hit here, a dollop there, thai food needed this, and even chili... until that fateful day at Jungle Jim's for the weekend of Fire '12 when I came across your booth tucked away in the corner next to the blogger's booth. In the tiny shot glasses you had sauce lined up for tasting... and I took the bait.
Let me also say- I was never a huge hot sauce addict, just a tiny squeeze here and there or a dash here and there and I was done. Not now.
Instantly, I fell in love- the sweet and spicy flavors with the vinegar melting on my tongue... it was what I've been looking for, nay, what I've needed and yearned for all my life! It is perfect- I had to buy a bottle. Now it's a month later and the now neglected Sri Ra Cha sauce is sitting in the pantry gathering dust while Papi Joe's Sauce is applied to everything. I'm serious! Eggs over easy is not complete with a glob of sauce now, Cincinnati Chili (a type of greek chili) is now dull without it, pizza is made just as a transport for the sauce and nothing more, I'm actively looking for recipes to make that I can put the sauce on... I'm addicted. Pretzels, chips, carrots, pumpkin seeds- nothing savory or salty is safe from being doused with hot pepper sauce now...
I will cry the day that I run out, but that means I get a new shiny bottle! I just hope I can find it at Jungle Jim's again, but if not, I'm ordering it online! 😀
